12 About Me

Hi! My name’s Megan, I’m a freshman at the University of Iowa and I’m originally from the Deforest, Wisconsin, a town about 15 minutes outside the state’s capital, Madison. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends and family, shopping, playing guitar, cooking, and baking (especially pasta dishes or cookies!). I plan on majoring in psychology to pursue my master’s degree in clinical therapy after achieving my undergraduate degree. I hope to learn in this class how humanities can play a role in therapy and the medical field to bring out patients’ experiences, not just the facts of an illness.
