Hi, my name is Jenna Nordly, I am a junior majoring University of Iowa. I am a nursing student and will graduate in the fall of 2026!

Originally I am from Mankato, Minnesota. I absolutely love going to school here and pride myself in all my involvements. I am an active member in my sorority: Chi Omega, work as a PCT in the hospital, and play on the club soccer team. I love to keep busy, spend time with family and friends, run, and make food. When I’m home in the summer, I spend a lot of time at the lake or at our cabin enjoying the weather and good people.

I am excited to take this class and develop the skills to promote and improve health. I hope taking this course provides me with knowledge on understanding on self perception and how different aspects of healthcare can occur in social and cultural settings. In addition, how to be more sensitive and aware of perspectives and emotions in regards to my future health profession.
