I am from Oswego, Illinois am a sophomore at the University of Iowa, now majoring in business, considering a focus in management and leadership. I started college as a pharmacy major, but realized I didn’t have the same passion for science that I thought I did. Although, I still have a love for science, so I shifted my goal now to work on the business side of pharmacy, perhaps in pharmaceutical contracting for oncology. I feel as though learning about health humanities and biomedical approaches help me to be more understanding and learn more empathy. I’ve learned time management, communication skills, attention to detail, utilizing creativity in projects, organization, and social science methods of inquiry.
