21 About Me: Elizabeth Edwards

My name is Elizabeth Edwards and I am in my second year studying nursing at the University of Iowa. I am committed to advocating and educating about LGBT+ needs in healthcare. I supplemented my education in this field through minoring in Gender, Woman, and Sexuality Studies. I have comprehensive experience in healthcare both focusing on patient care and research. My goal is to continue my education to achieve an advanced nursing degree focused on pediatric care to help LGBT youth’s voices be heard in healthcare.
