Hello! My name is Lexi Piemonte. I am a freshman at the University of Iowa. I am majoring in Public Health. I hope to learn about the health in different communities and environments, while also developing the skills to promote and improve health. I hope Foundations of Health Humanities provides me with an understanding on how different aspects of healthcare can occur in social and cultural settings.

I live in Westchester, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. When I am at home, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working at the Westchester Park District, going to concerts, and exercising.

Graduating May of 2028: Committed to understanding a variety of concepts and practices that strive to promote and protect the overall health of individuals. Strengths include effective collaboration and teamwork, leadership skills, and organizational skills that will allow me to make a significant impact in the Public Health field.
