4 Global Conclusion.

In conclusion, global air pollution still remains a complex and urgent issue in today’s world. With effects on human health, ecosystems, and the planet’s climate, there is evidence that this issue will not be going away anytime soon. From early recognition of the health effects of air pollution in ancient civilizations there has been an understanding of the harmful impacts. During the industrial revolution events like the Great London Smog drew more attention to the rising industrial impacts of air pollution on both health and the climate. The responses to events like this have led to policies like the Clean Air Act, internation conferences, and new technological advances. Programs like carbon credits in the past years have been seen to be successful at reducing these pollutants from impacting more people and the environment. While some countries like China have made significant strides in reducing pollution through aggressive policy measures and adoption of cleaner technologies, challenges remain, especially with fluctuating public and corporate interest in sustainable practices. Being able to address global air pollution requires awareness, innovation and cooperation between not only countries, but also companies that might not see real financial benefit from these changes. It is clear that some policies have worked in the past and with further advocacy the issue can be heard even louder. If individuals understand the impacts and consequences of pollution, they would be more likely to work for a better solution. We have the opportunities and responsibility to take actions that can ensure a healthier and more sustainable world for future generations. (LM)
