F. Data Publishing

In accordance with FERPA regulations, no personal user information, except individual directory information, should be publicly available in ICON. Examples of individual directory information that can be published include first and last names, e-mail addresses, and HawkIDs. Students may file “Request to Withhold Student Information” documents, which further restrict the publication of their data. Other user data, such as course .enrollment, active/inactive status, university ID number, and grade data, may be collected but will not be publicly available.
