E. ICON Course Site and User Account Data

This section describes the minimal set of data that is kept in ICON. Data publication should always conform to FERPA requirements (see Data Publishing below).

ICON contains the following user data:

  • user ID (See Naming for user ID formats),
  • first and last name, and
  • university ID.

ICON contains the following course site data:

  • course ID (See Naming for the course ID formats) and
  • course requester ID.
