E. What Ways May Courses Be Used?

Traditional courses are aligned with official UI courses, both semester-based and non-semester based (e.g., continuing education, cohort classes, etc.). Other uses would include staff training, faculty/staff organizations, continuing education courses offered through a college or other unit not aligned with an official UI course, or non-student organizations with some University recognition or affiliation and research. The creation of those courses should be governed by the University’s Acceptable Use Policy.
