4 Your Course Navigation Menu

Next, we’ll learn how to edit the Course Navigation menu.

Tip #1: Sometimes simpler is better! Keeping only your necessities in the CourseNav menu can mitigate confusion and create a seamless and navigable experience for you and your students.

Tip #2: Don’t forget to hit the save button at the end!

First, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the right-hand sidebar. Click on Settings. Then, navigate to the “Navigation” tab at the top of your screen. You’ll see the list of items available on your CourseNav menu. Here, you can drag and drop items to reorder them.

To disable a tab, click on the three dots on the right of the tab. Then, click Disable.

If you want to enable something, the process is the same. Scroll down, click the three dots, and hit the Enable button.

When you’ve made your selections, scroll all the way to the bottom and click Save.
