The resources in this unit focus on various aspects of adjusting to life in the U.S. that cause stress and anxiety for Russian-speaking immigrants. The resources provide multiple perspectives in response to a set of questions that probe into most common problems that immigrants from post-Soviet region face.
What language level is it for?
All resources on this page are in Russian; however, all responses include English translation for better understanding. Tasks are in Russian only.

Resource 1: This learning resource presents a number of responses that Russian-speaking immigrants might say in response to questions about their adaptation process here in the U.S. The responses are presented for three age groups: middle-age, college students, and students in elementary and middle schools. The responses include English translation for better understanding.
