I pronomi tonici (stressed pronouns)

Stressed pronouns are used:

  1. after a proposition

            Esco con loro. (I am going out with them.)

            Questo regalo è per te. (This present is for you.)

  1. after a verb to give emphasis

            Cerco proprio te. (I am looking just for you.)

 

Conversazione

Elisa: Ciao, stasera vado al cinema. Vuoi venire con me?

Monica: Certo! A dopo, allora.
