The Office of Student Financial Aid is here to help students navigate the financial aid process.
Services Offered
Financial aid advisors can:
- answer questions about grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans.
- discuss any special financial circumstances.
- help students and families file the FAFSA and complete related documents such as Federal Verification forms.
- explain options to minimize borrowing, forecast total debt after graduation, and describe loan repayment options.
- help create a budget, review spending, and explain the parts of a credit report.

Financial Aid Advisors are available for In-Person Drop-ins from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday as well as for Zoom Drop-ins between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Updated drop-in hours are listed here.
Students can also set up an individual Zoom or in-person meetings by logging into MyUI and clicking on the “Advising Appointment” tile.
