McKenzie is an Undergraduate student at the University of Iowa studying Communication, Leadership, and Pre-Law. McKenzie is a member of Phi Beta

 Kappa, National Honors Society, Phi Alpha Delta, National Student Leaders Society, a student ambassador of communication studies, and an honors student. She hopes to further her studies by attending law school in 2022.
